Set dance for four couples in the round. Play AABB x 3. Tune: THE DOOR IS NOT CLOSED

Part I
A1 1-4 Partners lead to the center and fall back to place. 
   5-8 All set R and L to partner and turn single
A2 1-8 Circle L once round. 
B1 1-8 Second couple cast into a double figure 8 with first man and third
       woman who cross through them to start. At the same time the fourth
       couple cast into a double figure 8 with the first woman and the third
       man who cross through them to start. The figure eights are on the.
       sides of the set. 
B2 1-8 First couple cross L shoulder into a double figure 8 with second 
       woman and the fourth man who cast up to start. At the same time the
       third couple cross L shoulder into a double figure 8 with the second
       man and fourth woman who cast down to start. The figure eights are
       at the top and bottom of the set. 

Part II
Al 1-4 Sharp siding with partner Left shoulder then Right shoulder.
   5-8 All set right and left and turn single.
A2 1-8 Circle left for eight once round. 
B1 1-4 First and third couples turn partners (heads) with R hand once round while 
       the second and fourth couples, partners facing, dance two changes 
       of a circular hey and make arches facing out.
   5-8 First and third couples pass R shoulder and cross through the arches
       from the outside to finish in opposite places. 
B2 1-8 Repeat this figure with the first and third couples making arches and
       the second and fourth couples grossing through them into their
       original places. 
       
Part III
A1 1-8 Partners arm left and then arm right.
A2 1-) Circle left for eight once round.
B1 1-8 All turn partner with both hands once round then first and third
       couples cast round their corner person as the second and fourth
       couples move away from each other and all move forward to form two
       straight lines on the sides of the set as shown below.

B2 1-8 In fours top ad bottom men cross R shoulder then women cross L
       shoulder, then all cross over L shoulder with the person opposite,
       face partner, reform the set in its original position and step and
       honor partner.

Brian composed this tune in fond memory of his friend and colleague, Tom Cook, Ken Sheffield devised a dance to fit the tune as his tribute to Tom. The title is a quotation of the closing words of Andrew Shaw's address at Tom's memorial service.
