A1 C1 cross go down outside (past 2nd C2), turn in, come up, 
A2 C1 give hands, face down, go down, turn as couple
   C2 up, C1 come back,
   effectively to 2nd position, but don't stop
B1 C1 cross up into double figure of 8, C2 casting
   End figure with couples progressed
B2 RH star, then big 2H turn with partner

The above version has two deficiencies:

* Couple 1 gets the majority of the action * the transition into the double figure eight has a tendency to get messy

Here is an attempt at a balanced version.

A1 C1 lead down past second C2, split and come up outside to 2nd place,
   while C2 take a step up to 1st place
A2 C2 lead down, turn (staying on own side), come back up to top,
   into a cast to start the double figure 8
B1 C1 cross up into double figure of 8, C2 casting
   End figure with couples progressed and proper
B2 RH star, then big 2H turn with partner
