Several of our members or former members have given us English dance resources such as books or CDs. In some cases there are book/CD combinations where the dances are described and the music is provided. Since the club has been going a while, we found we had duplicates of some items in our collection, and these are now available for members or others to purchase by auction.

Some of the items have descriptions in either Dance Books or Club's CDs .

It is suggested that proceeds from the auction be used to subsidize a dance where we can have a band and/or dress up and/or have refreshments.

Bids will close (Date to be decided).

Below is a list of links to items we have that are available for bid. You will need to log into our wiki to bid. If you have a login for the ottawaenglishdance wiki already, you should be able to use it. If not, please email (from the email we should use to contact you) to

      auction26.rq9z@ncf.ca

to request a login for the auction, giving your real name and telephone (they won't appear in the bidding, nor be shared).

When you are logged in, you should be able to open the bidding pages that are linked below – access is restricted to those with login credentials. To bid, you need to click on the pencil icon on bidding pages (top right hand side of frame) to add your wiki ID (your wiki username) and an amount in dollars that you bid on a new line. Please don't erase other bids – we could spend a lot of effort to make that impossible, but we trust our dancers to be honourable. (There is, however, a set of log files – we can find out if someone is cheating!) Please put your bid (presumably the highest so far) at the bottom of the set of bids. You can, of course, bid more than once, and the lists may prove interesting if we get some competition.
