Introduction
Bringing a whole new meaning to the Masked Ball, A Trip to Ottawa returned after two years of Covid 19.
This was a much smaller program than pre-Covid years with dances only Saturday afternoon and the Evening Dress up Ball.
Local callers, Mary Williams, John Nash & Jamie Hargrove called to recorded music in the afternoon and live music by Nicholas Williams & Alex Kehler for the Ball.
One nice feature, prompted by a need to keep things simple, was an outing to The Barley Mow, a local pub, Saturday, for refreshment between events.
44 dancers registered and it was nice to see friends from Montreal, Toronto area and New York. Many visitors also joined us at our regular Friday dance in Kanata.
